Just to show you how the world of Twitter is first for news I have this example. 10 minutes ago I read on TMZ that Brittany Murphy had sadly passed away at the age of 32 due to a heart attack. Within 5 minutes of me reading this, RIP Brittany Murphy was the number one trending topic with over 4,000 tweets in 2 minutes. Brittany Murphy, Actress Brittany and Clueless (one of her most famous films) were also in the trending topics. It just goes to show how powerful twitter is when it comes to informing people of the latest news. This is a very sad day. RIP Brittany Murphy.
